Medication Dispensing for First Response Teams |
When a biological emergency occurs, it is necessary for your First Response team to have immediate access to medications to ensure their health and the safety of others. Since the CDC will not be contacted until Federal and Local authorities agree the SNS is needed, and because the CDC has specifically stated, "The SNS is not a first response tool," city, county, and state agencies must make the necessary preparations to ensure these medications are readily available at all times.
